Sales Product Manager AV

As a rapidly growing company, Exertis AV is looking for a Sales Product Manager (SPM) to help us focus on the AV brands we are passionate about every day.

What will you do at our company? 

In this challenging position of Sales Product Manager, you will manage an attractive product range for the Benelux. As SPM you are the key person in our organization. On the one hand you are the relationship manager towards the suppliers and conclude contracts with them, and on the other hand you are ultimately responsible for purchasing the assortment and stock management.

You ensure optimal growth within your product range. To achieve this, you know how to deploy the right internal and external sales (support) and marketing activities. Therefore you have daily contact with your colleagues from sales and marketing and of course with the vendor itself.

The most important tasks in a nutshell:

 

  1. You will be part of the Product Category AV, including business planning and market share analysis;
  2. Prepare, execute and evaluate quarterly plans with suppliers to develop and consistently implement strategic goals and objectives;
  3. In collaboration with your colleagues in the Sales and Marketing departments, execute sales and marketing activities;
  4. Maintaining knowledge within your product range;
  5. Building and improving the ecosystems of product related services and solutions to be distinctive in the market (e.g. consumer offerings, multi-vendor offerings);
  6. Responsible for an efficient inventory and aging structure and achieving quarterly targets;
  7. With your knowledge and skills you will support our operational teams, think of the Buyers but also the colleagues from Inside Sales and Sales.

This is who you are

  1. You don't necessarily have to have a talent for languages, but you do have a command of Dutch and English. You also speak the language of the Pro AV market;
  2. The Benelux reseller markets are familiar territory for you;
  3. You see it as a challenge to make the best deals with your strong communication and negotiation skills in Dutch and English;
  4. An analytical mindset to continuously evaluate our growth and stock position;
  5. You embrace creativity, technology and innovation;
  6. You are a strategic thinker and data driven;
  7. You think in solutions, never in problems;
  8. At least 4 years of experience in a similar role is a must.
