Safety first!

Safety is a top priority at Exertis Amacom

At Exertis Amacom, safety is central to our daily operations. As an organization, we do everything in our power to create and maintain a safe workplace for our employees, visitors, and other stakeholders. This is not only an obligation but a culture that we continuously promote, embrace, and strengthen. We constantly invest in safety by appointing first aiders (BHV’ers) and conducting Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E). But of course, we do much more! We are happy to share some of the measures we take (and have taken) to ensure safety, as well as the steps we continue to take to maintain a safe working environment.

First Aid - Company Emergency Response
At Exertis Amacom, several first aiders (BHV’ers) have been appointed. These employees are specifically trained to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations. They play a crucial role in maintaining a safe working environment and are trained in evacuation procedures, alerting emergency services, and providing first aid. These first aiders not only contribute to physical safety in the workplace but also play an important role in creating a sense of security for everyone in the building.

Warehouses - Safety in the Workplace
At Exertis Amacom, a Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E) report is also prepared, which maps out the potential risks that may be present in the workplace. This report is an important tool for identifying potential hazards in a timely manner and implementing preventive measures. The RI&E report serves as the foundation for an action plan, and the identified action points are followed up by our employees.

Additionally, it's not just about documenting risks; continuous improvement of our working conditions is key. We periodically assess whether there are opportunities for optimization, such as adjusting the stacking height of pallets, improving walkways in the warehouses, and installing clear signage and wayfinding. Our warehouses are equipped with safe walkways and clear markings, allowing employees to move through the warehouse in a safe and organized manner.
